New GIRFT Guidance: Practical actions to standardise and improve bladder cancer care across the NHS.

Bladder cancer remains the only one of the UK's ten most common cancers where patient outcomes are not improving, with around 23,000 new diagnoses each year and high rates of mortality and recurrence. To address variations in practice and service gaps across the NHS, the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme, in collaboration with the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and the British Association of Urological Nursing (BAUN), has released this latest best practice guidance.
