ABC UK Improving Outcomes for Patients Programme 2021 & 2022

ABC UK IOPP 2021 Grants

The 2021 round of ABC UK's IOPP grants programme opened for applications in November 2021 and closed in March 2022.

The previous rounds of IOPP had been heavily impacted by COVID-19.  However, we were delighted that (with flexibility on project completion dates) the 2020 grants did produce some extremely valuable and interesting work.

The 2021 IOPP round launched in the Autumn of 2021 - when the on-going impact of COVID-19 on NHS Trusts and staff, and on other clinical and research settings were still being felt.  Again, ABC UK is delighted with the response, particularly in these circumstances, and pleased again to be able to fund valuable, and unique, research into bladder cancer.

GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS

Project Title:  Understanding the barriers and facilitators to patients accepting a novel diagnostic technique replacing the Gold Standard
