The Bladder Cancer Audit Pilot (BCAP)
Despite bladder cancer being one of the most common cancers in the UK, The National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN) doesn't currently run an bladder cancer audit. To tackle this gap, Action Bladder Cancer UK has launched BCAP –  an 18-month data research project analysing routinely collected NHS patient data across England and Wales. By mapping regional variations in diagnosis and care, BCAP aims to establish best practices, improve survival rates, and demonstrate the urgent need for an official national audit.
